Freescale has a number of opportunities for Test Engineers. As a Test Engineer, you will participate in or lead a test engineering project involving several engineers. Responsibilities in this role include translating product specifications and system requirements into test requirements, defining design for testability requirements and automatic test software generation. You will develop test software and hardware on state of the art Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) for complex combined analog and microcontroller products. In addition, you will partner with design, applications and product engineering teams to deliver complete robust test programs that meet sample, qualification, characterization and production needs as well as resolve silicon issues.
Bachelors or Master?s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with a GPA of 3.25 or higher
Knowledge of integrated circuits in CMOS technology and in software engineering
Experience in software development (C/C++, Perl, Visual Basic, Assembly)
Familiar with BIST, SCAN, DFT, DFM implementation schemes
Simulation of integrated circuits (VHDL, Verilog, Spice)
Familiar with analog, mixed signal or high speed serial interfaces is a plus
32Bit microcontroller knowledge is a plus
Test engineering experience on ATE e.g. Teradyne J750, UltraFlex or Agilent 93K, is a plus
