Test Engineer QD Vision

An exciting opportunity exists for a new member of the Deposition Development Group at QD Vision. The position requires work under limited supervision on varied and complicated laboratory projects in support of our corporate strategy. The successful candidate will work closely with Senior Deposition Group members as well as members of other teams (Chemistry, Device) to develop prototype equipment, develop non-standard tests, and perform optical measurements. He or she will generate, analyze, and interpret data, which may be communicated in writing or verbally. This will require the use of programming tools, graphics and statistics as appropriate.

Education

- Bachelors degree in a science or engineering discipline

Requirements

- Inventive, inquisitive self-starter
- Hands on prototyping, experience with tools, basic electronics, optics, soldering
- Familiarity with lab equipment such as microscope, spectrophotometer, glove box, vacuum systems, etc is preferred
- Familiarity and experience with LabVIEW, Matlab, MS Access, and VBA is a definite plus.
