Test Lead, AppDetectivePro Application Security

Description:
We are seeking an individual with experiences of leading QA testing efforts in product release and feature development. The successful candidate must have demonstrated expert ability to define test scenarios and methodologies, to develop and maintain test automation and have experience with complete system integration and feature testing. The candidate will be part of the AppDetectivePro team the world's number 1 database scanning and vulnerability assessment solution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define test plans, execute tests and identify defects to ensure high quality produce releases
- Write and perform tests for new features in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Develop and maintain automated testing systems for new features and regression tests
- Provide QA leadership and technical guidance
- Own all QA efforts within the team and play a key role in coordinating QA efforts across teams
- Help with customer support issue escalations
- Maintain testing tools including an extensive VMWare ESX-based lab

Qualifications:

- Solid testing background and extensive experience writing and executing test plans
- Hands-on experience in test automation and test management tools
- Rock solid database skills including SQL expertise on two or more databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Sybase, etc.
- A BS degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in software development/testing
- Solid experience with Microsoft Windows and UNIX operating systems
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Self organized and driven to achieve objectives
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with programming languages such as C, C and Java a plus.
