Test Technician Cambric
Conduct mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, structural, stability, reliability, endurance and test to failure tests on the Company's products by performing the following duties.
ESENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSINILITIES include the following:

Conduct the following:
Non-destructive inspections, such as magnetic particle and dye penetrant
Mechanical test, such as vehicle draw-bar force, weight of machine components, motor and/or brake torque tests, machine stability tests and machine weight tests
Hydraulic test, such as pressure, oil temperature, flow, and function speed
Electrical test, such as continuity, voltage and resistance tests
Structural strain measurements
Sound level measurements
Automatic test using programmable monitors and controllers
Data collection using programmable monitors and controllers
Data collection using programmable loggers
Operate and maintain equipment and perform other general mechanical duties, such as complete component changes, modifications, teardowns, and reassembly
Prepare and setup machine and/or mechanism for tests listed above.
Plan, coordinate and prioritize test requests based on company and department goals.
Monitor and analyze test results to determine if test goals were achieved.
Record and report test data.
Modify on-going tests, when necessary, to assure test objectives are achieved.
Perform lesser functions, for a limited time, when necessary.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent needed. In addition, two to four years of experience in hydraulic, mechanical, electrical assembly or maintenance needed. Knowledge of automated test equipment and programmable data acquisition system.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must have ability to use test equipment such as but not limited to strain recording devices, oscilloscopes, weighing devices, volt/ohmmeter, accelerometers, transducers, and hydraulic test devices such as flow meter and pressure gauges, in addition to computer type test equipment such as Edaq's, PLC's, shunts, automated electronic test setup (electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, structural), and instrumentation.
