As our Threat Research Developer in Broomfield, CO, your main mission will be to develop and maintain tools and automation for the Threat Research team, creating tools and algorithms to assist in the identification and classification of malicious software. Depending on your particular strengths and interests, you will be assigned to handle various backlog projects upon hire, each of which is related to threat detection, the heart of what we do at Webroot. While not a direct management role, you will have the unique opportunity here to liaise among the development teams, driving adaptation of new tools and technologies for research purposes, all while growing your budding leadership skills. Your professional experience using C# and .NET, as well as SQL Server and MySQL experience (i.e., schema, stored procedures, SQL queries on the backend) will ensure your success in this dynamic role.
