DescriptionResponsible for the ordering and coordination of the installation of Toll Free and Switched Long Distance Services. ?Review orders for completeness and technical correctness
?Order Toll Free and Switched Long Distance services via the Company ordering systems ie:SMS800, EDE, Portfolio, RSS, Ucommand, Interactive Advantage, and manual forms.
?Accountable for and will maintain specific customer commitments and deadlines in the database.
?Provides the customer status updates on toll free and switched long distance orders.
?Correct and update orders, assign orders, coordinate transition and implementation
?Responsible to organize the release of toll free numbers
?Coordinate the turn up of switched long distance working with long distance service vendors; maintain switched long distance records and communications internally.
?Troubleshoot problems with Toll Free and Switched Long Distance services
Requirements? Basic knowledge of telephony, including understanding of basic bandwidth and service levels.
? Experience using Microsoft Office software programs
? Perform non-predictive multiple tasks
? Excellent verbal and written communication skills
? Troubleshooting skills
? Associates degree in a technical discipline or equivalent education, training and/or experience.
PREFERRED:
? Understanding of long distance and toll free networks including the SMS database
