Responsibilities
- Track and measure offload job status, ensuring the on-time and on-budget delivery of jobs.
- Responsible for coordination of outsourced jobs and maintenance of consistent and accurate records outlining job history.
- After requested, initiate and manage bid life-cycle (release, maintenance, receipt and analysis of bids, PO award, PO/supplier maintenance).
- Logistic planning which includes transportation coordination, packaging, and staging items for delivery.
- Choreographing drop shipments between vendors all ultimately to secure early or on-time delivery of jobs.
- Expedite parts through other departments to break any hold factor in support of late part delivery.
- Expedite material from the receiving dock, stock rooms and buyers in support of late part delivery and deliver to using department.
- Maintain weekly visibility on part shortages.
- Support of Data Integrity in Visual and shop Floor Audits
- Control of Non-conforming Material / Return to Inventory / Stock Purge
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree highly preferred (Specifically Engineering Related).
- 3-5 years of experience in a production environment.
- Blue print reading is required, 3D CAD familiarity is a plus.
- Outgoing and energetic individual with a personal drive towards continual improvement (development of tools (processes/systems) to improve efficiency).
- Personable over the phone and in person. Unafraid of vendor interaction in order to negotiate improved deliveries for lower prices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Specifically: Word, Excel & OneNote)
- Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing stooping, stretching and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
