About the Job
The following is a representative description of the position?s role and responsibilities. Reflecting the flexible nature of our work, Nexant will adjust this description as necessary to meet operating and strategic needs of its business.
We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator I to support the Energy Efficiency ? Implementation Support team in our Salt Lake City, UT office. The desired candidate will have 1+ years? experience within residential, commercial and industrial industries. This position will be focused on supporting the recruiting, training and management of the trade ally network for Questar, Rocky Mountain Power and PacifiCorp Company?s Energy Efficiency Programs.
Duties and Responsibilities
?Travels to sites to evaluate installed equipment to ensure equipment will perform according to specifications.
?Conducts training on the safe operations of the equipment and demonstrates skill to trainees, including both team members and customers.
?Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.
?Communicates effectively as part of a team approach with other departments in servicing.
?Conducts site visits and identify energy efficiency measures.
?Completes assignments and responds to inquiries in a timely manner.
?Communicates effectively with subcontractors and clients.
?Other duties as assigned.
??Have a high school diploma or equivalent and degree or certification program in a technical related field.
?Completion of specialized courses in residential, commercial and industrial practices is a plus.
?Demonstrated email and written communication skills.
?Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required.
?Ability to learn and operate company proprietary computer software is required.
?Technical aptitude, with the ability to appropriately apply technical service base to individual customer needs.
?Strong and steady work history with 3 years in a Technical Service Industry background is desired.
?Demonstrated aptitude understanding of Sales and Sales Structures.
?Strong aptitude in energy efficiency equipment.
?Strong attention to detail and follow-through in a fast pace environment.
?Knowledge of energy efficiency or the building efficiency industry is a plus.
?Demonstrated customer service skills.
?Knowledge of proper building construction and codes, and/or field experience in performing inspections involving detailed analysis is desirable.
?Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, and control systems is a plus.
?Must be able to lift, push and or pull 50 pounds.
?Ability and comfort using small tools, ladders and power equipment.
?Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
?Must have a valid U.S. driver?s license, insurance and a personal vehicle to visit customer sites.
