Trainer / Training Developer Minerva Networks

Headquartered in Alviso, CA, Minerva is a privately owned company developing broadband television software solutions for the telecommunication, cable, satellite and enterprise markets.

Job Description:

Traveling up to 25 for customer on-site training and potential field engineering support
Developing training programs for online and onsite classroom delivery
Self and group learning of Minerva SW systems and continual updates
Proactively Conferring with Professional Services employees to understand the product at an operational level
Physically performing server based SW Installations and/or Modifications as part of the training and product understanding
Continuously conducting training needs assessments
Developing student evaluations to measure to evaluate effectiveness of training
Developing teaching aids such as handouts and demonstration models.
Possessing the technical ability to learn new SW systems
Experience with online and direct training delivery
Ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organizational structure
Ability to communicate tactfully and effectively under high pressure situations.
Ability to multitask effectively and possess excellent time management and organizational skills

Experience/Education:

4+ years of experience performing technical training and designing same
Proficient in - Microsoft Net meeting, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
BS Degree a plus
