Description:
Plateau is seeking a Training/Business Administrator to work at our Capital One client site located in Richmond, VA. The Training/Business Administrator will be responsible for administering and maintaining the companys automated internal learning management system, as well as assisting Capital One University (COU) with general staffing-related activities. This is an entry to mid-level position. Management of COUs internal learning management system include: Creating and maintaining user accounts for employees; uploading and assigning compliance and professional training courses; scheduling internal training events; generating compliance and usage reports to support COU initiatives; administering semi-annual performance review events; ensuring user data integrity and accuracy. This person is responsible for ensuring the information in the LMS is up to date and accurate, and meeting the needs of the business.
Job Duties include:
- Maintain User records (Learner and Administrator roles)
- Setup new Users in the system and help new Users understand the use and benefits of the LMS
- Maintain active Curricula and Items to support compliance and internal training processes
- Maintain and archive learning content
- Assign compliance Curricula
- Monitor compliance statistics and provide periodic reports
- For internal and external training, record learning events after training is complete
- Update User Introduction text periodically to emphasize new content, initiatives, or features
- Manage Organizational hierarchies for the LMS
- Manage Role administration for the LMS
- Ensure ongoing accuracy in configurations of LMS system
- Database Query, SQL and XML skills
- Work with COU to determine how to assign compliance curricula to Users (through Assignment Profiles and/or Job Positions)
o Work with each department to setup functional curricula
o Work with each department to determine how to assign functional curricula to Users (through Assignment Profiles and/or Job Positions)
o Implement HR and functional curricula and setup APs and/or JPs accordingly
- Monitor organizational compliance with annual and quarterly training needs; help manage compliance reporting
- Provide key administration support for customers Resource Allocation and Change Management processes:
o Evaluate change management and resource allocation requests for proper disposition
o Organize/facilitate meetings and document team decisions
o Followup with team members on outstanding actions and deadlines
Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree and 1 year of relevant work experience or Bachelors degree and relevant experience
- Proficient user of Microsoft Suite products: Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, Adobe
- Combination of analytical thinking and project management skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently
- Technically inclined and a quick learner
- Focus on customer service
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- High integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Solid communication skills, with special focus on written communications and diplomacy skills
- High attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- SQL and XML
- Experience querying databases
- Background in testing on-line courseware
- Experience as an HRIS or Training Administrator
