This position will provide a wide variety of training and certification programs for our client partners using adult learning principles and accelerated learning techniques. You will be responsible for the definition of curricula and content while providing direction into the design and development of content and materials. You will set the criteria for assessment and certification of training participants. You will deliver training materials and programs that include eLearning, webinar, and instructor led formats to support the company?s growth. This position requires being a part of the Boston and Chelmsford offices.
Responsibilities
Deliver and/or provide support in the delivery of training to our external partners.
Conduct training needs assessments and prepare recommendations.
Define training and certification programs including curricula, scheduling, and delivery.
Direct the design and development new training content and materials.
Implement programs, including training strategies and program delivery utilizing the most appropriate technology.
Work with subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and organize content that will be designed and developed into learning content tailored to target audience.
Work with all departments to ensure consistency in presentation and delivery mechanisms for learning content.
Mentor instructional designers, program managers, and curriculum developers in departmental standards, instructional design methodologies, and implementation of learning strategies.
Use multi-media training that includes print, video, on-line, and social media tools.
Evaluate and research new training technologies and emerging training issues.
Evaluate, design and adjust curriculum as well as the processes associated with that curriculum, to meet identified business needs.
Desired Skills and Experience
Five to seven years of professional sales or customer training experience including design, development, and delivery of programs.
Three to five years outside sales experience.
Dynamic presentation skills.
Practical experience applying instructional design and curriculum development methodologies and learning strategies.
Excellent time management, organization, and critical thinking skills.
Requires organizational agility (able to identify and work with many groups to achieve results), the ability to lead and drive change and a proven ability to maneuver through unstructured problems and create the necessary structure to drive results.
Proven success using blended learning techniques and technologies.
Experience training software applications.
Experience in a B2B, channel market.
Experience delivering online training using tools like WebEx and Go-to-Meeting.
Familiarity with hosted applications and SaaS environment is a plus.
Experience in the use of digital media tools such as Adobe eLearning Suite (or equivalent) a plus.
Experience creating instructional video demonstrations and simulations a plus.
Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
BA/BS degree or equivalent.
