We?re looking for a Learning Consultant to partner with the Customer Support call center to design and deliver a learning strategy that will drive a great customer experience. The Customer Support Learning Consultant will be part of the Internal Learning & Development team, collaborating with learning professionals in Sales and Professional Services. The right candidate will partner closely with leadership in the Customer Support organization as well as with the Customer Support Quality team to recommend and deliver innovative training in call center processes and Vertafore product training.
Vertafore develops and delivers software to the Insurance industry, helping to save our clients time and money. In support of our products and our clients, the Customer Support Learning Consultant will be immediately involved in the following initiatives:
Product cross-training: Vertafore Support Agents are most effective when they can resolve customer issues on more than one product. The Customer Support Learning Consultant will partner with product teams to develop and deliver innovative product training to reduce time to productivity for Support Agents.
Onboarding: Vertafore continues to grow and needs a consistent onboarding experience for new hires. The Customer Support Learning Consultant will partner with other L&D professionals to design and implement a best-practice approach for Customer Support onboarding.
Employee development: In order to create development paths for Support Agents, the Customer Support Learning Consultant will evaluate learning needs according to organizational performance and employee competencies and will use that evaluation to prioritize development projects within the team.
Process and skills training: The Customer Support Learning Consultant will participate in the development and delivery of Customer Support process training such as customer service skills, call ownership, and troubleshooting. This could include coordinating training delivery schedules.
A minimum of 5 years professional experience in Corporate Learning, Instructional Design or Learning Consulting.
Excellent communication (written and verbal), collaboration and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement an organizational learning strategy.
Strong project management skills, attention to detail and drive for results.
Two years? professional experience in a customer contact center preferred.
Adept with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Strong analytical skills including qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Bothell is about 15 miles north of Seattle, WA and Vertafore?s Bothell location has about 550 employees in Product Development, Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support and company administration.
The Bothell office is easily accessible from I-405 and has plenty of onsite parking. Additionally, the office is close to peaceful walking trails, restaurants and downtown Bothell.

The Customer Support Learning Consultant will travel up to 25% of the time, primarily to other Customer Support locations to meet with colleagues and support learning programs. Location visits will usually be 2 ? 4 days for a given visit.
