POSITION: Training Specialist
LOCATION: Chicago
This position is part of the overall advisor integration process and is responsible for platform training of home offices and financial advisors. Employees in this position possess the willingness and drive to stay current on all platform functionality in order to provide ?Best in Class? service to our financial advisors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
?Perform live web-based training for clients.
?Work closely with Client Implementations to determine training needs and nuances for on-boarding firms.
?Manage inbound calls and emails on the Advisor Directed Program
?Input training attendance statistics in the contact management system
?Educate current advisors on how to interact with the platform (from research to proposal generation to ongoing account maintenance).
?Work closely with other internal departments, including training collaboration/documentation with Institutional Client Training team, providing feedback to Enterprise and Advisory Sales regarding potential leads as well as providing details to the Product and Development teams for future enhancements.
?Independently learn the newest enhancements and thoroughly document them.
REQUIREMENTS
?2+ years of client relationship management experience.
?Experience supporting financial applications preferred, including trade posting, reporting, and exception handling / troubleshooting.
?Experience working with and/or supporting multi-use applications preferred.
?Customer-centered approach
?BA/BS in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent
?Extensive financial software application skills.
?Effectively works independently as well as in a team environment
?Demonstrates professionalism and diplomacy and is able to work with a variety of personalities.
?Strong interactive communication skills. Communicates in a concise, productive and professional manner, verbally and in writing.
?Can manage several demanding tasks/requests/projects at the same time. Ability to adjust to changing priorities.
?Intellectual curiosity and desire to broaden knowledge of the platform. Comfortable with technology. Ability to stay current with all platform enhancements
?Highly organized, possessing strong attention to detail.
?Ability to present to groups using PowerPoint and web-sharing software.
