Training Specialist Allegro Development

Allegro seeks a Training Specialist reporting to the Director of Global Education & Training. This position will support, coordinate, and assist with training programs for employees, partners and customers. This is a technical role that will require a background and/or education in programming or software development.
Challenges of the position include:
Coordinate training schedules and preparation of training materials, and assist with classroom management experience.
Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs through the application of ROI training methodologies.
Assist with conducting training needs analysis.
Assist with designing and developing courseware using training and simulation tools, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
Implement and manage system to organize and electronically manage training materials.
Assist with the implementation, practice and application of e-learning programs.
Qualifications for consideration:
2 years of training or software development experience with an interest in training
Training Certifications a great plus; ASTD certificates including Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), Human Performance Improvement (HPI), Designing Learning Certificate Program, ROI Process Model, Measuring and Evaluating Learning Certificate, etc.
Previous training experience in solutions or services company desired
C# development knowledge/skills highly preferred
Specific energy industry and ETRM experience a plus
Presentation skills and classroom management experience
Self-directed and able to work independently
Attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects
Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills
Desire to develop training career with a growing and dynamic company
