Transformation Architect Telwares
Position Summary
The Transformation Architect will report be responsible for:
?Performing all aspects of project management in support of client engagement.
?Performing detailed analysis of client networks, voice systems, data center, storage, and other aspects of IT Infrastructure.
?Developing roadmaps and strategies in support of next generation network, voice, data, and video services.
?Conducting strategic planning to align client?s information architecture development and management with the overall business and IT planning effort.
?Developing, document and implement project strategies that will provide optimal results for the client balancing key operational, technical, financial and contractual requirements.
?Developing a range of alternate solutions and provide detail analysis of pros and cons of each approach.
?Providinh gap analysis and planning to map client path from current to future state.
?Developing, documenting and managing client & service provider communications on behalf of clients with adherence to Telwares policies and practices.
?Presenting recommended strategy and detailed analysis throughout the engagement and as events warrant.
?Supporting special projects as well as routine and ad hoc reporting requirements.
?Demonstrating ability to develop and cultivate relationship across various levels of the client organization.
?Actively participating in account planning, sales and solutions development within current engagements or prospective clients.
?Acting as a subject matter expert on assigned industry topics.
Essential Functions
?Lead all facets of client engagements encompassing the development, implementation and execution of IT strategies.
?Support the sales and delivery of IT solutions that align with client objectives and strategic operating goals.
?Be knowledgeable in IT sourcing and change management projects encompassing all aspects of IT, such as; network infrastructure components & transport, SIP and VOIP deployments, virtualization, security, wireless and wire line emerging technologies, collaboration solutions, hardware & software considerations, licensing and maintenance arrangements, etc.
?Be well versed in contracts and negotiation.
Skills and Experiences?10 years relevant work experience, five years minimum in the network, telecom, IT and or data center industries. Equipment vendor, service provider or prior consulting experience within technology, finance and contracting organizations a plus.
?In Depth knowledge of Enterprise Systems Architecture, Mainframe & Open System technology, Networking and Security technologies.
?Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management.
?Proven experience in IT planning, organization, and development.
?Strong understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
?ITIL Practitioner
?Appropriate Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, EMC, Redhat certifications preferred.
?Multi talented individual that can work both at the strategic/executive level and at the tactical/analyst level.
?Demonstrated leadership skills with willingness to readily and voluntarily take ownership of scope expansion.
?Strong consulting, financial modeling, project management and writing skills.
?Expert knowledge in the details of telecom, hardware, software & IT product contracts sets with spec, pricing, and contracting processes.
?Excellent interpersonal and teaming skills with ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals developing and strengthening relationships
?Superior verbal communication skills and presentation capabilities demonstrating the ability to confidently define, defend and execute solutions while assimilating different points of view.
?Self-starter, ambitious over-achiever.
?Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail demonstrating the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
?Ability to travel regularly, as travel will be required in support of client deliverables. Estimated to be 50%
