Bauer?s Intelligent Transportation (Bauer?s IT) Transit Account Manager
Bauer?s Intelligent Transportation, founded in 1989 is a growing full service transportation management company specializing in operating a variety of commuter and charter transportation services in the Bay Area and throughout California. Bauer?s Intelligent Transportation provides corporations, transit systems, schools, airports, and transportation managers (one of the largest fleets in America) over 150 luxury vehicles; from state of the art luxury business shuttles to black car celebrity and VIP services.
Bauer?s Intelligent Transportation utilizes its fleet of over 200 vehicles to transport two million passengers to major employment centers and other locations throughout California. This very sophisticated operation involves central dispatching using custom designed software. All of the services provided by the company require meeting rigorous performance standards.
Bauer?s IT is also one of the largest private eco-green fleets in the country, providing Intelligent Transportation to public, corporate, retail, and charter clients.

The Transit Account Manager will be responsible for the overall management of the commuter transportation program(s) and contract(s). The Transit Account Manager?s responsibilities:
Oversees scheduling of regularly assigned project personnel
Responsible for the creation, distribution, and oversight of data entry and collection of daily, weekly and monthly operating reports and summaries
Acts as liaison between Bauer?s IT and the Account
Develops and implements program(s) and department policies, goals and objectives
Develops and maintains staff relationships to achieve high morale, productivity, teamwork and retention
Evaluates operations and makes changes or improvements where necessary
Insures that the program(s) is compliant with local, state, and federal government regulations
Proactive development of service delivery and the forecasting needs of the Contract(s)/Client
Assures compliance with data gathering and service standards contained in all contracts
Works in cooperation with the account?s transportation, finance, human resources and administrative departments to establish and maintain positive working relationships
Other duties as assigned
The Transit Account Manager should be an excellent leader and educator, who demonstrates a ?can-do? attitude and belief in a team approach, fostering good communications with all parties involved, in the uses and delivery of public transportation. The Transit Account Manager should possess the following:
Knowledge of the transportation industry
2 years of managerial experience
Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Self motivated, assertive, and ambitious
Professional appearance and presentation
Mid-Senior level Functions: Business Development, Project Management, Customer Service Industries: Transportation/Trucking/Railroad
