Job Description
VP level Manager reporting to Director, CTB-DB ('Change the Bank')
Global SME - responsibility for directing DB's credit clearing product (Executing & Clearing Broker) process
Facilitate / coordinate multiple IT projects to support the client clearing business areas, as appropriate
Co-manage onboarding / testing of new client access points and processing
Analyze and correct breaks in the process when specific clearing processing knowledge is required
Represent DB in credit clearing marketplace discussions / conference calls with other peer banks
Ensure that the appropriate level of day-to-day business is maintained and provide business enhancement specifications as required
Maintain latest client clearing business workflows and processes for Credit Clearing
5 to 10 year understanding of Derivative products, specifically important is Credit Default Swaps for credit clearing
Manage up to 5 staff directly (in different physical locations) and indirectly manage / direct up to 50 staff
Required Skills
Strong interpersonal and management skills
Strong knowledge of Investment banking business & technology support platforms
Strong written, verbal, presentation, and budgetary skills
Strong knowledge of the latest regulatory requirements for credit clearing, e.g. Dodd / Frank Act
Strong knowledge of individual Clearing House Offerings, e.g ICE, CME
Strong knowledge of individual Affirmation platforms (e.g. Bloomberg / VCON) used by the Clearing Houses
