Coursera is looking for a brilliant and motivated contract specialist to join our Growth team and help us run operations for our fast-growing translations community. If you think on your feet, can continually suggest ways to make processes better and more efficient and have exceptional people skills, then we want you to join us. This position will be initially on the backend operations of community building and will partner with the rest of the Growth team to improve the translator experience. Responsibilities will be ever evolving and your input will be invaluable.

What will this person do?
Available for a regular schedule of 20 hours a week on-site (possibility of working remotely on occasion)
Manage onboarding processes for community applicants using various internal tools
Work with support and product teams to troubleshoot onboarding and maintenance issues
Identify actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence team strategy
Possible community management work with users, dependent on need
What skill set does this person possess?
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Desire to untangle complex, subtle problems
Ability to prioritize among conflicting demands
Basic to intermediate experience with wrangling Excel data
Multilingual fluency strongly preferred but not necessary
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and front-end technologies strongly preferred
Experience working in a startup preferred
