Responsibilities:

Troux Technologies is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to play a key role in the development of its core products. This position is pivotal in the detailed design and implementation of new product use cases using Java, SQL, Ajax, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript and a host of supporting technologies.

Qualifications:

5 years of recent direct Java coding experience
Proficiency in enterprise-level J2EE application development
Proven experience with software design
Strong SQL and database knowledge
Good communication skills

Strongly Desired:

Experience working with agile development teams
Test-first development practices and automated unit testing experience
Background in ETL and reporting systems
JavaScript, HTML/DHTML proficiency

Pluses:

Background in usability principles
One or more of the following attributes:
o Ability to withstand endless ribbing by fellow teammates
o Desire to purchase donuts if you ever break the build
o A strong desire to glue someones mouse to their desk
