Two Sales Executives required: Germany
Jaspersoft is a fast-growing, late-phase start-up looking for two outstanding senior sales executives to drive our success in large ("enterprise") accounts and in the Independent Software Vendor ("ISV") sector in Germany. These opportunities have arisen due to the growing demand for Self-Service Business Intelligence in the territory. Both Sales Executives initiate and execute sales transactions of the Jaspersoft Business Intelligence Suite to prospective clients with Business Intelligence needs. Sales Executives are responsible for their defined territories ("Sales Franchise Area"): at Jaspersoft we have adopted a Franchise approach to territory management: In order to maximise the sales of their Franchise, the ideal candidates will have strong relationship-building skills and should be comfortable talking to and presenting to senior business leaders in the Enterprise and ISV segments respectively.
- Ability to initiate and execute sales transactions to prospective client base within defined Sales Franchise Area.
- Qualifying and electronically updating all leads and contacts assigned to Sales Executive on a daily basis.
- Application of time management skills in order to coordinate sales activities to appropriate territorial time zone.
- Ability to conduct professional sales calls via telephone.
- Effectively conducting and managing sales cycle including, but not limited to: Qualification for technical and business fit; Evaluation process; Contract process; Closing transaction.
- Ability to effectively and concisely educate potential clients and partners on the value of Jaspersoft services and products.
- Maintain consistent, self-directed sales outreach.
- Meet or exceed defined sales goals/quotas/opportunities.
- Ability to meet required information input deadlines.
- University/college or equivalent education.
- 4+ years sales experience; with at least 2+ years experience in solution selling.
- For the Enterprise role: sales experience selling business intelligence value-based solutions is preferred.
- For the ISV role: knowledge and experience of selling to this sector is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Self motivated with independent work skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to learn key software applications.
- Strong evidence of over quota performance.
- Fluency in German and English essential.
- A strong network of senior executive level contacts.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work within Germany.
