This critical position will be accountable for successfully supporting the growth of the Juxtapid (lomitapide) capsules in the US. Overall responsibilities will be to manage commercial-related communication activities across the organization and with key customers. The individual will support the US commercial organization including Marketing, Field-force, Sales Operations, Customer Care and other commercial departments to achieve near and long term commercial objectives. Position will report to Director, US Marketing and is located in Cambridge, MA. Role will be an individual contributor.
Deploy internal commercial communication platform and execute and track on-going communications related to key commercial initiatives within Marketing, Sales, Sales Operations, Training and Compliance;
Partner with IT to develop and utilize the appropriate digital channels of internal communication;
Partner with Patient Advocacy team to execute disease awareness initiatives and support patient ambassador program logistics;
Prepare for and facilitate review of materials through Promotional Review Committee (PRC) process including attending PRC to ensure all changes and follow-up are captured, implementing required changes, and archiving final materials;
Partner with Public Relations team to align corporate, brand and disease-state messages and support digital communication channels as needed;
Execute advertising campaigns and social media communication plans for Health Care Providers (HCPs) and Patients. Manage day-to-day branded websites, partner with HCP and patient marketers to execute any content updates, and evolve search campaigns to optimize and manage advertising spend;
Lead language translation of HCP and patient materials to meet the needs of patients with different cultural backgrounds.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelors degree in Communications, English, Marketing, Business or
Experience working in a start-up and/or mid-cap sized company preferred
Proven ability to develop exceptional relationships and have an impact on or influence others
Successfully working in cross-functional, high-performance teams
Highly developed organization and prioritization skills and capability
Demonstrated strong and well developed written and oral communications ? samples of written work will be requested
Familiarity/experience with regulatory and pharmaceutical legal promotional review processes
4 to 6 years of experience working in marketing and with project management
Online marketing and social media channel experience preferred
