The UI Architect is a customer facing technology leader. You will work with our engineering team and customer to architect and design best of breed, highly scalable web solutions.
You must be able to create high quality architecture design and solutions to solve business problems, create technology vision, supervise work of our engineering resources, and identify solution risks and produce mitigation plans.
Be a technology leader - design and develop the UI and UX for highly scalable, intuitive web applications.
Conceptualize new design solutions - bringing them to life through comps, wireframes, rapid prototypes, and final designs and templates.
Provide guidance on incorporating user research methodologies into the design and development lifecycles.
Analyze and predict user behavior, identify and implement opportunities to improve UI for some of the world?s highest eCommerce traffic websites.
Review code and project deliverables and confirm that they are of high quality; mentor other developers as needed.
Identify and mitigate business and technology risks associated with architectural solutions.
Stay current with the newest online technologies; research new technologies and make recommendations on implementations.
Generate and monitor the implementation of business ideas and solutions that will increase the company?s profit.
Bachelor?s or Master?s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
5+ years experience in building web applications using the latest standards-based approaches (HTML5, CSS3, PHP, AJAX, Sprint MVC).
Strong understanding of key components of WEB2.0 architecture (AJAX, Social Networking, Blogs etc.) and semantic HTML markup.
Mastery of cross-browser, cross-platform markup and layout (HTML, CSS).
Experience with server side technologies like JSP, Java, and Java Servlets.
Strong knowledge of general design principles (layout, color, fonts, proportion, brand, interaction behaviors, etc.).
Knowledge of Agile process, and performance tuning techniques including multi-threading.
Ready to show a pronounced leadership and management skills.
Understanding of implementing responsive design techniques.
Experience working on at least 2-3 high traffic enterprise level production sites.
Strong understanding of Search Engine Optimization techniques.
