DescriptionOverview
The Product Development and Technology team is looking for a UI Developer for the Media Technology development team. This individual must be a highly motivated professional who enjoys working in a fast paced, agile development environment. This position will be primarily focused on the development of WildTangent?s media platform including WildTangent BrandBoost?, WildTangent Advertising Platform, and other mid-tier media services across multiple platforms including iOS, Android and Windows.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, including AJAX and OOD/OOP (prototype, class design, etc).
Strong knowledge of W3C compliant XHTML and CSS.
Solid experience in writing semantic markup and layout using CSS only.
Knowledge of optimizing HTML, CSS and JS loading.
Ability to rapidly create prototypes of interfaces to be used as a blueprint for content and technical development.
Effective teamwork and good communication skills with the ability to mentor peers and provide peer code-reviews.
Ability to work effectively with software engineers in test to enhance test plans and automated testing framework.
Required Experience:
5+ years experience with JavaScript
5+ years experience implementing W3C compliant websites using XHTML and CSS
3+ years experience with AJAX (jQuery, Dojo), QUnit
Experience with HTML 5 and CSS 3
Experience in an Agile development environment
Bachelor?s degree in CS or equivalent training and certifications
Bonus Skills:
Mobile platform experience
ActionScript 3 and/or Unity experience highly desired
Familiarity with Adobe Product Suite
Localization experience
