Responsibilities:
--Build user interfaces using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
--Collaborate with software engineers, product managers and UX designers in development of new UI functionality.
--Mock up application interface interaction with backend API access to facilitate rapid prototyping.
--Research and implement new user interface technologies and frameworks to improve user experience and engineering productivity.
--Serve as an expert on user interface engineering to the entire engineering team.
Requirements:
--Bachelor's degree in computer science or other engineering or technical discipline.
--Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including object oriented design, design patterns, data structures and algorithms.
--3+ years experience in a Web user interface engineering role.
--5+ years as a professional software engineer and computer scientist.
--Experience with AJAX technologies and techniques.
--Thorough understanding of DOM scripting sans framework, solid understanding of http methods and communication (XHR, cross domain, CORS, JSONP, postMesasge, appropriate fallbacks).
--Experience building web application interfaces using jQuery, Ext-JS, Dojo or other major JavaScript framework.
--Experience with PHP, Java, C# (.NET MVC) or any web stack.
--Experience with source control, issue tracking, test automation, continuous integration, change management, and configuration management.
--Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written and verbal).
--Self motivated, willingness to learn emerging tech/drafts (HTML5, umbrella techs, CSS3, etc).
--Comfortable in a fast paced and agile environment.
