Think Through Learning is looking for a UI Engineer to join our team to help develop a next generation, innovative learning application. At Think Through Learning, you will be working on UI functionality, innovating new interaction patterns and working closely with a highly collaborative team. We are looking for people who have a passion for building great products and are bringing our applications to life.So, if you think you have the chops to deliver something unique, come talk to us! This role is located in our Pittsburgh, PA Office.
Requirements:
A passionate UI Engineer with a background in front end development and design sensibilities
Experience with HTML and CSSand Rails
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop CS5 & Illustrator is required - to translate design comps into user interfaces
A good knowledge of interface usability and data visualization
A passionate UI Engineer with a background in Art and Engineering with solid technical skills
Required Skills:
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Demonstrable experience implementing elegant user interfaces
An undergraduate degree, preferably in Graphic Design and/or Computer Science or similar field
Preferred Skills:
Experience with git for version control
Experience with DSLs for HTML development (haml, slim, etc)
Experience with javascript frameworks like backbone.js, mustache/handlebar, etc
Experience with responsive frameworks like twitter bootstrap or Zurb foundation
Ability to multi-task & be able to juggle multiple projects
Effectively manage a project from conception to completion in a timely manner
A strong communicator and team-player who collaborates and helps others
Passionate about art, layout and design
