Position Overview
We are seeking a talented FrontEnd developer that understands the web thoroughly and who thrives during the early stages of product design, and who welcomes the iterative nature of this phase. This role requires a candidate who is passionate about both design and FrontEnd development. Coding must be modern, clean and well organized.
This individual will work closely with Design and Product teams to develop interactive prototypes for the purposes of testing and iterating new product designs. Tasks include defining a prototype strategy, developing prototypes in preparation for user testing, iterating on prototypes and collaborating with Engineering teams in preparation for product development.
Key Responsibilities:

• Define a strategy for each prototype activity
• Translate designs from interaction and visual designers into lightweight interactive prototypes
• Prepare interactive prototypes for user testing
• Iterate on prototypes based on user feedback
• Prepare prototype work for hand-off to Engineering for implementation

Skills Required:

• Rockstar knowledge of HTML and CSS with HTML5/CSS3 experience
• Extensive experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g. jQuery, YUI and Prototype)
• Experience creating lightweight, interactive prototypes
• Demonstrable experience delivering interactive prototypes and FrontEnd web application development
• Understanding of user interface design, including interaction and visual design principles
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Interaction Design or a field relevant to this role, or 5 years hands-on design experience
• Knowledge of best practices and tools used in current FrontEnd development
• Familiarity with Photoshop, OmniGraffle and Illustrator preferred
• Experience in commercial web/social/mobile design, preferred
