UI/UX Designer
At Bitcasa the UI/UX Designer will be responsible for researching typical users? view and usage hotspots, using modern UX conventions to create new workflows, and create a dynamic UX Bitcasa client on mobile, desktop and web. You?ll come up with wireframes and rapid prototypes and work with other team members to turn creative thought into final UI specs.
Job Requirements
Defining and implementing design guidelines and design specs & demonstrate experience with industry platform standards
Experience in conceptual development and creative prototypes as well as tactical UI design and implementation
Excellent strategic problem solving and decision making skills in the field of design
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to analyze an application and transform the design to make it simple and easy to use
A quick study. Methods to gather and synthesize information quickly and efficiently
Able to successfully negotiate a range of projects, from vague to well-defined, simple to complex, implementation to innovation
Strong organizational and project management skills
Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
Facility with various design methods and processes, including Agile and iterative development
Experience w/ major design tools such as Adobe Suites
Education and Work Experience
4 year Degree or equivalent experience in the field of Human Computer Interaction, User Experience or User Interface Design
Demonstrated ability in developing UX for consumer desktop and mobile applications using modern UX conventions and standards
