If this sounds like you, then continue to read on!The Telerik team is growing and we are currently looking for a UI Designer to join our team in Austin, TX. The major responsibility of the position entails designing User Interface for the Telerik Testing Tools Division using Microsoft technologies ? WPF and Silverlight. The role is part of a team already recognized as a worldwide leader in WPF/Silverlight development and will offer the unique chance to influence global UI trends and innovate human-computer interaction. If you were a part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week as a UI Designer:
? Significantly influenced the product line by working closely with the UX Team to define innovative features and improve existing ones
? Conception and design of user interface components that are genuinely intuitive
? Translated user and business specifications into task flows, wireframes, prototypes, and other deliverables
? Animation and interaction design for UI components
? Implementation of UI designs and animation in Expression Blend, XAML and/or HTML
? Work with local and remote teams within the product line
? Collaborated with the UX Team to identify product user interface inadequacies from customer inquiries and issues
First Year Success:
? Implementation of new product feature UI that are consistent with existing product
? Improve current existing user interface redesign for consistency and user experience
? Full product line review and identification of user experience challenges with solutions to implement
You will be the person who has (a):
? XAML, WPF, and MS Expressions (HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus)
? Familiarity with the .NET framework is a plus
? Team player
? Excellent mastery of Photoshop and Microsoft Expression Blend
? Passion for designing the best user experiences
? High degree of creativity, problem solving skills, and attention to detail are must haves
? Experience doing user research, information architecture, and interaction design are a big plus
