POSITION SUMMARY: This person is passionate about designing world-class products and believes that usability and desirability go hand-in-hand.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conceive, design and develop dynamic and visually stunning user interfaces for web, desktop and mobile devices including icon to application design
Develop pattern and style libraries for our team and help keep them updated and maintained.
Rapidly iterate on multiple design ideas to get to the best possible solution.
Occasionally create mockups or wireframes for usability testing prototypes to get real-world data on how our user will interact with our products.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
2+ years hands-on visual design experience.
You are an interface designer, not a print graphic designer, and you can show us that you can take an interaction design concept and translate it into production-ready mockups, assets & icons for any platforms including desktop, web and mobile platforms.
Thorough understanding of graphic design principles, including screen layout, color theory and typography as it applies to the digital work.
Solid intuition of best practices and tools used in user-centered interaction design.
You are a team player, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment.
Mobile experience (native apps, responsive web design, etc).
You?ve been on teams that have created new products as well as improved existing ones.
A great online portfolio showcasing your work.
UX know-how (preferred, not required)
HTML/CSS/JS knowledge (preferred, not required)
Experience within an Agile (Scrum) development team (preferred, not required)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard.
Able to sit at a desk for extended periods of time and read a computer monitor.
Able to read and comprehend reason and analyze.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
