UI/Web Developer BigMachines

The UI/Web Developer will implement User Interface infrastructure for our enterprise web application using the latest in front-end technologies such as DHTML, JavaScript, Java, Tag Libraries, JSP and AJAX.

Job Description:

- Develop new product features and collaborate with server-side developers to build components using Java, AJAX, Javascript libraries, JSP, Spring framework
- Produce high quality code
- Perform peer code review and overall site QA
- Bring new and fresh ideas to the table
- Stay updated of new technologies and of changes in technologies that affect front-end web development
- Be an effective communicator

Qualifications:

- BS/MS in Computer Science or related from a reputed school
- 3 or more years experience developing web application UI
- Strong knowledge and passion for front-end technologies such as HTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX
- Good knowledge in Java
- Strong focus on problem solving and analysis with ability to understand problems in context of end-users and technical requirements
- Strong communications skills
- Experience with Javascript libraries like Ext and Spring framework
- Past experience in putting together UI frameworks for application developers to use
- Strong sense of what is required of a great user interface.
