Responsibilities:
Will be developing web based UI, frameworks and templates with Expression Engine CMS for:
Rebranding of existing web sites and creation of new web sites
Mobile optimization of existing and new sites.
Will create templates and proof of concept/design with expression engine CMS
Cross-browser testing.
Defect fixes and site maintenance.
Create web pages using best practices for layout, syntax, cross-browser compatibility & optimization that meet W3C standards for usability.
Create properties files from delivered content and submit for translation.
Discuss business requirements, wireframes, design, and implementation options both within and across teams using both written and oral communication.
Follow and assist with the evolution of corporate front-end standards and branding guidelines.
Qualifications:
4 year degree plus 5+ years experience web design and development work using current web development tools and techniques. Nice to have experience with Expression Engine CMS/other CMS tools acceptable and create templates for design for proof of concept.
1) CSS 3 ? 8 or 9 on a scale of 10
2) PHP - 8 or 9 on a scale of 10
3) Javascript- 8 or 9 on a scale of 10
4) JQuery ? 7 or 8 on a scale of 10
5) HTML5 ? 8 or 9 on a scale of 10
6) Preferred is knowledge of Mobile Optimization of website (Not mobile development)
7) Preferred skill is knowledge of Java integration with backend webservices.
