DEPARTMENT: Professional Services REPORTS TO: Manager, Unified Communications Engineering
I. Position
This position requires aligning voice and data network architecture with company?s business objectives and existing network infrastructure. Analyzes and defines the business and technical requirements of complex / converged network architectures. Requires knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Products: Communications Manager, Unity and MS Active Directory, Cisco Presence, Cisco Unified Communications Contact Center with CVP.
II. Experience
? 4 + years experience in designing and deploying Cisco Unified Communications network solutions
? 4 + years experience in UCCE with CVP and IPIVR
? 1 + years experience in Microsoft Active Directory
? Experience designing and implementing large-scale Unified Communications solutions
? MGCP / H.323 / SIP experience required
? Experience with Voice Gateway models 6608 / 3845 / AS 5400 / VG 248
? Service Provider experience
? Experience designing and implementing Qos in LAN / WAN / MAN environments
? Experience with PSTN communication including SIP Trunks
? Catalyst 3550 / 6500 / 4000 series experience desired
? Experience with UCME
? Experience with UCCE and UCCX desired
? CVP implementation and troubleshooting experience necessary
? Contact Center scripting experience
III. Skills
? Ability to design and implement Cisco Unified Communications, VOIP networks
? In-depth knowledge of Private Line, Frame Relay and ATM networking
? Customer facing / presentation skills
? Documentation skills ? able to deliver low-level design documentation
? Excellent verbal / written communication skills
? Strong research and consultative skills
? Project management skills
IV. Education
? BA/BS Degree in related discipline
? Professional Certifications in Router/ Switch and / or Voice Specialization
