University Account Executive, North America Zipcar

We are seeking a hard working and passionate individual to work with North American Universities, to outline how Zipcar can help them achieve their transportation and sustainability goals while providing a great, cost saving transportation alternative to Students, Faculty and Staff.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Identifies and develops key university partnerships and opportunities with appropriate North American Universities.
Works with the Zipcar University Account Managers to grow revenue and the number of vehicles on campus.
Shares 10 years of Zipcar best practices and coaches the Zipcar team to ensure success.
Develops and prioritizes all University pipeline activities.
Collaborates with peers and local teams on lead generation activities.
Works within CRM database to track account activities, enable cross-selling and share best practices.
Attends networking events and tradeshows, and participates in conferences as required.
Works with Account and Fleet Manager(s) to effectively set account expectations and effectively launch the program.
Works to identify local community expansion with the goal of entering and growing new Zipcar markets.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:
Four year college degree in related field required, advanced degree a plus.
6+ years solid solution selling skills, with demonstrated success in selling services in a high growth, competitive environment. University sales/business development experience preferred.
Experience replicating sales paths of least resistance with the ability to identify and evolve strategy and tactics to exploit relevant opportunities.
Ability to identify, prioritize and focus on critical tasks.
In-depth understanding of Zipcar's business and how it best translates to meet client's needs.
Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of using databases for managing contacts and overall CRM activities and assessing performance of the business.
Problem solving-the individual identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, gathers and analyzes information skillfully and maintains confidentiality.
Interpersonal skills-the individual maintains confidentiality, remains open to others' ideas and exhibits willingness to try new things.
Oral communication-the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and demonstrates group presentation skills.
Written communication-the individual edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.
Planning/organizing-the individual is a self-starter, works well independently and prioritizes and plans work activities and uses time efficiently.
Quality control-the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors own work to ensure quality.
Adaptability-the individual adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Dependability-the individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
