We are seeking a Systems Administrator who has broad and deep comfort with Internet technology and has a proven history of delivering superlative service to rapidly growing, distributed enterprises. This person will be part of a team that is jointly responsible for all aspects of Tremor's production systems and network architecture. He/she will work closely with the development, QA, product and technical operations teams to support, build and expand the network and system infrastructure.Typical work activities include:
Manage and maintain all server, database and networking environments
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical network architectures, including all resulting documents and drawings, test plans, and risk assessments to ensure sound architecture
Maintain systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting system operational issues
Requirements:
5+ years experience with Linux systems administration
3+ years experience with VMWare administration
3+ years experience in network information systems
Strong experience administering Apache, Tomcat and MySQL
Experience with supporting high-load, real-time Internet applications
Experience managing storage devices such as SAN and NAS
Experience with Cisco Routing and Switching
Experience with Network security including firewalls, intrusion detection (IDS), vulnerability and penetration testing and threat mitigation
Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios
Proven analytical / problem solving ability
Demonstrated ability to learn new skills quickly
Able to work and contribute in a team environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Required to be flexible, detail oriented and organized with the ability to multitask
Able to demonstrate poise under pressure
