POSITION: Upgrade and Cloud Solution Architect

LOCATION: Remote

SUMMARY:

Upgrade and Cloud Solution Architects provide operational, tactical and strategic direction and oversight for development and support of tools, processes and eco-system of rapid upgrades and business cloud environments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position requires demonstrable, wide-spectrum, grasp of both technical and business issues in context of high-impact program management and field and partner enablement. Substantial experience with Cloud-related technologies such as virtualization and orchestration is required in addition to experience using and developing code and data migration, middleware, knowledge systems and application deployment, monitoring and management technologies.

This is a complex role and you will work with, and influence all levels of leadership of Infor groups as well as customers and business partners to capture/validate requirements, conceive market-leading integrated solutions and identify opportunities for a variety of business scenarios.

You will facilitate/drive alignment of technology domains with business process areas, participate in the evolution of the technology roadmaps and guide the organizations technology and business planning through direct interaction with Infor and industry thought leaders.

A minimum of an undergraduate degree in computer science or related areas is required in addition to outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Prior experience in developing end-to-end programs, an analytical mindset and fast-paced, creative is a must. Functional experience in key areas of Infor offerings such as manufacturing is a plus.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

· College degree; Masters degree preferred

· 10 years of work experience

Required Skills:

Position will require extensive travel and you should expect 70% of your time to be spent in the field working alongside Infor pre-sales and sales teams as well as supporting Infor partner community.
