Duties & Responsibilities
1. Assist and support Operations management with varied administrative and clerical tasks.
2. Prepare project budgets, track principal expenses, perform actual vs. budget analyses and communicate such to Operations management.
3. Track and coordinate geophysical recording equipment.
4. Track crew job costs for multiple crews.
5. Work with CFO to analyze project profitability.
6. Review equipment lease contracts and ensure that Company is in compliance.
7. Coordinate arrangements for performance bonds.
8. Coordinate with third party vendors regarding equipment orders.
9. May assist in inventory audit.
10. Occasional travel to field sites and storage yards.
11. Coordinates with shipping brokers as necessary.
12. Orchestrate and may attend Technical, Safety and Quality training as required by management.
13. Coordinate travel arrangements for field personnel and Houston employees.
14. Assists in preparation of annual department budget.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Seismic Field Operations experience preferred.
College degree or high school diploma and a minimum of two (2) years prior office administrative experience in a services organization.
Knowledge of basic accounting for job costs.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills; must have ability to perform math operations quickly and accurately.
Strong communication skills.
Proficiency with MicroSoft Word.
Capable of performing various clerical tasks requiring the use of English, math, reading, writing and computer skills.
Must be able to comprehend a variety of rules or instructions furnished in a written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule forms.
