This member of the Sales Team will be primarily responsible for personally constructing and leading major sales initiatives within a pre-determined set of accounts comprised of Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device Companies. They will be responsible for directly presenting the company capabilities to various audiences within the industry and persuade potential customers to utilize InfoMedics solutions. This individual will also work closely with InfoMedics Account Directors, operations and finance to construct proposals and contracts for new and existing clients. It is critical that this individual creates and maintains selling relationships across the client organization focused in the area of brand marketing (professional and consumer). This individual needs a strong business management approach to selling. Our clients demand a person that can take a consultative approach and take the time to understand their needs and brand objectives as well as their therapeutic categories then design solutions that meet their needs. This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President, Sales & Client Relations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
10+ years of high level sales experience in life sciences. Having sold marketing solutions directly into Pharma at the brand team level.
Ideal candidate will have started with Big Pharma, preferably in Sales and/or Marketing, and then have migrated into selling marketing solutions into Big Pharma with proven understanding of the pharma marketing process.
Demonstrated ability to generate new sales prospects and secure new business.
Proven ability to maintain and expand existing clients.
A track record of sales success in the field of pharmaceutical marketing services.
Excellent organization, and demonstrated communications and presentation skills.
Proven ability to formulate, present and implement tactical selling plans and business reviews to both clients and internal InfoMedics management ? sales funnel management.
Proven outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to move both up and down the client?s table of organization.
Proven business management approach to selling.
Ability to sell the value of patient-physician communication platforms.
Proven negotiation and contractual sales closing skills
Ability to work independently from a remote location.
