Who We Want:

Bazaarvoice is looking for a very talented UX Designer with a background in Visual Design, Interaction Design, or prototyping/wireframing skills. This User Experience Designer will play a key role in creating exceptional experiences for millions of users across the web. As a UX designer, you will lead the design process, working closely with Product Management and Engineering. Working with Bazaarvoice you will get the chance to make a significant impact with your work while working autonomously and managing multiple projects at a time. As a white-label provider, the UX designer must be able to deliver clear, simple solutions that scale across our broad range of clients. You will have the opportunity to work within a small, growing UX team to bring cutting-edge interfaces and functionality to market on leading eCommerce sites for domestic and international Fortune 500 brands. You will have a high level of ownership and will be able to work with top branded companies such as Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, and Geico. Your work will comprise up to 70% of clients? product pages and be used daily by tens of millions of consumers across the globe. Working with our clients you will also have the chance to get immediate feedback from top brands while making a global impact and helping consumers shop more intelligently. While you have the ability to work autonomously you will also have the chance to work with a team of extremely talented designers and developers. Proactively lead design innovation of our products
Research and deliver insights about our users to the organization
Drive collaboration with many sets of internal and external stakeholders
Provide expertise in standards, UX patterns, and the cutting-edge practices

Job Requirements

Demonstrated ability to design complex applications and large-scale consumer websites
Expertise with design deliverables including interactive prototyping, wireframes, mockups, etc.
Strong interaction design and visual skills
Expertise in HTML, jQuery/Javascript, and CSS
Familiarity with user research methods like brainstorming, cognitive walkthroughs, surveys, and usability testing
Portfolio required
