CareAnyware is seeking a User Experience Designer to help us craft engaging and user-friendly products that play an integral role in creating great software solutions for the home health and hospice industry. You?ll be primarily focused on how the products function and how to make the entire experience more intuitive for users. You will be key in defining customer requirements, creating wireframes, user flows and guidelines to be used across the product. Successful candidates must have strong user experience background with enterprise solutions with an understanding of all the major web, desktop, and mobile OS visual/UX paradigms. This role reports to the Vice President of Product Strategy and Marketing, playing a leadership role across the organization, and work with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
Conduct ongoing user research and incorporating resulting insights into your user experience vision
Able to work with agility and flexibility to meet the changing customer requirements
Engaging users in design, testing, surveys, and contextual studies
Perform user-level competitive analysis and research to inform UX design decisions
Design world-class products that empower and delight customers and propel our business
Craft the user experience of applications and mobile apps, through wireframes, user and transaction flows, page flows and interface design.
Provide a multitude of concepts and designs in both low and high fidelity to review with internal teams and customers
Redefine the User Experience across a breadth of software products
Document UX design standards and guidelines to ensure usability, standardization, and branding goals
Evangelize and enforce a clear vision of the UX standards and guidelines, working as a user advocate throughout product planning and delivery
Work collaboratively with development team to clearly explain concepts and requirements on which the UX design was based understanding what is feasible
Work collaboratively with company stakeholders, product owners, training and implementation, and strategic customers on your UX proposals and design
Work closely with product owners in development sprint teams to successfully complete development
Facilitate strong collaboration with product management, development, customers and stakeholders
Work as a product owner as/if necessary
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor?s degree; Master degree preferred in Human-Computer Interaction, cognitive psychology or related field or similar
At least 5 years of experience in in UI/UX design role redesigning enterprise level products
Proven ability to design in an Agile software development environment
Thorough understanding market requirements and competitors, conducting needs analyses, understanding key technologies, and developing compelling solutions
Ability to define the intended User Experience and Interactivity through wireframes, screenflows, screenshots, story boards and design specifications
Extensive experience in testing and validating designs and features, and redesigning for improvements
Ability to create design standards and educate software developers
Ability to Develop product strategies incorporating product suites and roadmaps
Experience leading focus groups and creating user personas to harmonize understanding of user needs across sales, marketing, management, and engineering
Ability to analyze business processes and conducting user studies to fine-tune user requirements, especially for Agile software development processes
Ability to involve a variety of interface modalities (Web browsers, desktop applications, wireless, touch screens, voice)
Ability to communicate in a professional manner
Able to own areas of the product and work with minimal supervision
Must be a quick learner, self-directed, motivated, and have strong dedication and commitment level to the tasks at hand. Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, project-oriented environment
