Who are you?
Your current title may start with IA, UI or UX. Either way, you bring a passion for user experience to all that you do. You?re a wireframing and prototyping guru. You thrive on collaboration and can fight for your ideas while embracing others. You have or want to develop mobile expertise. You are obsessed with the details that make an experience both effective and engaging.
Responsibilities:
Participate in all phases of the development process ? from idea conception, to wireframes and prototyping, to design and implementation
Oversee usability and design research for each project
Create innovative solutions for new features and improvements that tie to business goals
Work cross-platform, including all desktop, mobile, and mobile Web.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Intelligence, Research, Editorial, Sales, and Technology teams.
Evangelize for user experience within the company
Share expertise, best practices and challenges with a talented team of UX, Design and Photo professionals ? all committed to defining and building premium health products
What You?ll Bring
Strong UX experience creating interfaces for complex interactive products.
Great wire-framing and prototyping skills
Passion for what you do, staying on top of current trends and developments
Understanding of what user-centered tools and practices are relevant to different projects and goals
Experience conducting and analyzing usability and design research
You have worked in an Agile environment
You are able to clearly articulate your ideas to team members and stakeholders.
Thrive in fast-paced environments. Manage multiple projects and deadlines, both under direct supervision and autonomously. You are flexible and adaptable, able to switch priorities in a moment?s notice.
Resourceful and creative. Getting things done the usual way might not be an option ? so thinking outside the box IS encouraged and often necessary.
Qualifications:
Approximately 5+ years of professional design experience
College graduate. Preferably a degree in HCI or Interaction Design
Experience in wireframe and prototyping tools including Axure, Omnigraffle, Keynote, or similar tools
Portfolio of work that demonstrates your wireframing, prototyping and user research chops
