User Experience Designer - Product Management CombineNet
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED CombineNet is looking for an experienced User Experience Designer to join our team on a full time basis. Reporting to the VP of Product Management, you will be pivotal in advancing our user experience strategy. You will be responsible for helping to define and realize product features in aggressive timelines through close cooperation with other members of the CombineNet Product Management, Customers, Engineering, and Quality Assurance teams.
All candidates must provide examples of work with a resume that demonstrates an ability to quickly access UX challenges, generate ideas, problem solve, and arrive at a solution efficiently and effectively.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Create the UI and interaction design specifications for existing and new user experiences through the creation of user experience briefs, functional prototypes, and wireframes.
Define standard application style including color scheme, font, layout, and graphic usage implemented through CSS, inline style, and HTML patterns.
Drive optimal experiences, measured in terms of usability, intuitiveness, consistency, and time to market.
Advocate industry standards and user-centric design principals and champion innovative techniques and solutions.
Drive customer-related forums and surveys to uncover and assess UX issues.
Develop and maintain detailed product specifications and design patterns.
Provide insights on where user needs are not being met at the feature level.
Provide recommendations for ongoing product strategy, based on qualitative and quantitative data.
Be able to critique other creative work, offering direction for improving quality, consistency, or strategy.
Rationalize design decisions to stakeholders and peers.
Skills and Experience:
Degree or equivalent experience, specializing in design, information and library sciences, human-computer interaction, ergonomics, computer science, or cognitive psychology.
Minimum three years of experience in online interaction design or information architecture in a SaaS environment.
An online portfolio or work samples demonstrating experience creating user-centered design solutions.
Excellent graphic design ability and amazing attention to detail.
Led or participated in the creation and rollout of a corporate style sheet.
Enthusiasm for IXD, UX, and IA with a broad knowledge of current and best practices.
Passionate self-starter who can be both visionary and detail-oriented.
(- Mastery of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, ActionScript is not necessary, but familiarity with the web languages is extremely important.)

This position pays a base salary plus eligibility for an annual bonus, which is based on various performance factors. CombineNet also offers a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and 401k participation.
