User Experience Designer LiveOps
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The User Experience Designer position with LiveOps is an excellent opportunity to be on the front lines as we take our company to the next level. In this high profile role, you will make a tangible impact on LiveOps user experience. Your contributions will enable a simple and elegant experience for our customers and other users, and your work will be recognized at the highest levels of the organization.
Based out of our corporate headquarters in Redwood Shores, CA you will work closely with LiveOps customers and our engineering & product management teams to take a design from concept to production-ready mock-ups. Working in a fast paced, agile environment, you will design user interface features for our web application used by both our customers and our network of over 20,000 distributed call center professionals.
Requirements gathering - identify stakeholders, gather functional requirements and use cases for the desired features
Customer research - identify interested parties, write study protocols, meet with customers and validate requirements. Consolidate additional information into customer requirements and report back to stakeholders.
Interaction design - produce wireframes to express high-level to low-level interaction patterns and workflows, including common interactive elements (e.g. modal dialogs, button use, toolbars, etc.).
Visual design - create pixel-perfect mockups to express the final visual design requirements, including common colors and layouts to be used
Documentation - document UX specifications for interaction and visual designs, providing developers with detailed descriptions for all scenarios and contexts within which the application will be used.
5+ years overall application design experience
Experience designing web applications, accompanied by a solid understanding of web technologies and the web development process
Knowledge of user interface design principles, web design best practices, and web standards.
Fluency in common design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver and/or Fireworks.
Stand out candidates will combine a clear understanding of project requirements with an intuitive and forward-thinking mindset and the ability to think outside the box.
Used to working with a formal Product Development Life Cycle. Requires working with product management, creative design and a variety of stakeholders in order to understand business/customer needs.
