THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The challenge: When we started out we ran text messaging based services and the user experience was all about well-crafted messages. Today we have a lot more to offer: mobile sites, desktop data portals, mobile apps, email campaigns, and video. Our engineers are great at creating the code, but we now need someone to make these services beautiful, simple and accessible to the user.
The job: Every screen that we present to our users and customers needs an overhaul. Register with Care4life (by downloading the app and using ADA as the sign up code) and you?ll see what needs to be done. If you can?t figure out a hundred things to change, this isn?t the right job for you! Our UX manager will manage and work with our 2 in-house graphics designers as well as external consultants to redesign the user experience for all of our services: from enrolling via the web, to logging onto personal health portals, to entering data, to reviewing emails, to watching videos. Then they will partner with the product management team and technology team to get the design into the hands of the user.
The person: If you love design, have an amazing attention to detail and get annoyed when using websites, apps or tools that are neither beautiful nor intuitive you have the mindset we want. 3-5 years working on consumer facing UX design is about what we?re looking for. If you have graphic design skills, video editing, or just love playing with Photoshop that would be an added benefit. Don?t forget to submit a sample of the on-line projects you?ve worked on along with your application. And make it look pretty!
