User Experience/Visual Designer Memeo

Memeo is seeking an enthusiastic UX Designer to directly contribute to the execution of these exciting partnerships. The successful candidate will work closely with our UI Designers and Product Managers to create new interfaces and improve existing interfaces for software that will reach millions of users. It is essential that the successful candidate makes their own contribution towards designs but can also accept input from others and create designs that are truly a team effort. Personal opinions will be valued, especially where they are enforced by strong theory and examples of successful application.

The UX designer will contribute to:

Defining and developing user experience for all products
Creating comprehensive UX solutions including user flows, wireframes, and mockups
Creating digital and/or interactive prototypes to test product concepts and designs
Leading usability tests with real users

EXPERIENCE BASE:

Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications
Demonstrated success in interactive design (e.g.: web, mobile, desktop)
Proven written and verbal communication skills
Excellent teamwork skills
Experience in user testing would be a bonus, but is not essential
Knowledge of CSS/HTML would be a bonus, but is not essential

Skilled communicator who welcomes and can give constructive critiques
Visual design chops (work must look good)
Adaptability and diligence to produce multiple rounds of designs
High standards of excellence and attention detail
Very strong results orientation

Autonomy in day to day tasks
Knowledge of Japanese language and culture would be a bonus, but is not essential.
