We have an immediate need for a UI & Graphic Designer to develop easy to use, compelling user experiences for our growing suite of products.
The User Interface and Graphic Designer role requires a highly motivated person interested in designing innovative, intuitive applications used by a wide range of user types. This role is unique in that it requires creative design skill and development skills in order to design and develop prototypes and components that will drive the development of the final product. Working closely with Product Management and Development, this position plays a critical role to ensure both the interaction and visual design of the products combine to create a compelling user experience.
Essential Responsibilities:
Create wireframes, and visual design mockups as needed to effectively communicate detailed concepts or ideas.
Use branding, standards, and company style guides to improve existing and new product user interfaces.
Participate in user research and usability tests
Build interactive prototypes if necessary to support mockups and usability testing
Collaborate with Development and Product Management and continually look for ways to improve the user experience
Provide UI design and reviews across different technologies and products
Help translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into elegant, intuitive and engaging experiences
Prepare UI assets for product development teams
Working with development to maintain design constancy throughout implementation

Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s Degree in Fine Arts, Interaction, or Graphics. Other degrees are acceptable with a combination of related coursework and experience
Academic or employment experience with multiple UI or web design projects
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Understanding of user-centered or goal-directed design principles and UI best practices
Portfolio of previous project work demonstrating both interaction, and visual interface design skills (ideally with wireframes and high-res mocks)
Proficiency with HTML/CSS
Proficiency with JavaScript, AJAX preferred
Mobile application user interface experience preferred
