About You:
You love experimenting to find new and more optimal solutions and strive to keep current with the latest techniques. You care about crafting clean semantic code. You are interested in mobile first, responsive design and progressive enhancement. Your attention to detail is legendary among your peers.
Must Have:
Experience with transforming visual designs into well-crafted HTML and CSS
Some knowledge of different browser rendering nuances and how to customize code for each when necessary (No IE6 support!)
Ability to manage your time and stay motivated on projects
Works well on a team, but can push back when needed
Role:
Produce clean, semantic HTML markup and CSS based on mock-ups from a visual designer
Work with developers to integrate your code with JavaScript-based templating framework
Maintain reusable and extensible CSS class tags
Work with visual designer to maintain style guide for web-based user experiences
It's Cool If You:
Experiment with CSS3 transitions and animation
Work on optimizing websites for mobile or responsive websites
Use subversion control such as svn or git
Have tried a CSS metalanguage such as Sass / SCSS
Bonus points if you are fierce with a nerf gun (or good at dodging the occasional flying missile).
