FirstRain is seeking an experienced, talented designer to help us with the detail work throughout our
product: Generating product icons, designing the layout of product pages, designing the interaction of
various forms, specifying colors and palettes for a variety of data visualizations, buttons, etc. The
designer will be a long-term consulting resource for our team, working on an as-needed, per-project,
hourly basis. Projects may range from a few hours to a few person-days at a time. We anticipate 10-20
hours of work per week.
Qualifications:
? 3+ years? experience as a consultant or full-time design resource designing interfaces or interface
elements for web applications and mobile apps for a professional software or mobile app
company.
? Expert in Photoshop (preferred) and/or Fireworks.
? Outstanding interpersonal, communication, analytical and presentation skills are required.
? Adept at taking wireframes and sample data to create multiple versions of interface elements and
pages, providing a variety of design choice.
? Skilled in creating app icons, menus, forms, interfaces with well-organized layers that are easily
exportable in regular and retina resolutions.
? Has worked collaboratively in product teams; is deadline driven, customer-focused and committed
to quality.
? Will present relevant portfolio of product work on web apps and mobile apps.
