Overview:A leader within the Technology practice, provides input on the strategic direction of the practice
Fosters excitement within the organization for emerging technologies
Provides technology thought leadership to clients and within the technology services department
Provide architecture guidance in specific subject matter areas
Research new technologies and provide mentoring for the technology practice
Responsibilities:
Client ready. Communicates complex technical concepts in an easy to understand fashion
Act as a subject matter expert in related technologies for clients and co-workers
Travel to support clients and team members
Create the ?trusted advisor? relationship between iCrossing and the client
Research tools, technologies, and training programs
Mentor project teams and direct reports
Participate in department and service offering initiatives
A strong leader and a team player who understands how to work effectively in a fast paced, evolving organization
Develop frameworks/core modules that improves the quality of deliverables
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
5+ years of experience
Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in Consulting Services
Experience with multiple SDLC processes
Broad experience across the interactive space
Knowledge:
Expert understanding of current and emerging web technologies
Expert understanding in a broad range of JavaScript libraries and frameworks
Expert understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts and design patterns
Experience implementing data-driven web applications using various integration techniques, including web services
Possesses a strong understanding of Content Management Systems
Languages/Platforms:
PHP, Ruby, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Mobile and Responsive web development
Content Management Systems, Web/App servers, Open Source platforms
Abilities:
Ability to architect and document complex solutions
Proven Leadership skills
Proven public speaking skills
Proven ability to guide teams through innovative experiences
Stays in touch with leading edge technology
Writing technology-related opinion papers
Excellent people skills
