Who We Want:
As the lead UX Designer at SailPoint, you will shape the vision for UX and design across SailPoint's market-leading product line. The UX Designer will be responsible for creating compelling and innovative user experience designs for SailPoint?s enterprise and SaaS products. The UX Designer will have the opportunity to develop and improve the user experience and functionality of both current and new products while working closely with our Product Management and Engineering teams to conceptualize, design, and prototype user interface designs. The ideal candidate must be self-directed, a fast learner, and flexible enough to work on multiple concurrent projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in cross-functional teams, including product owners from Product Marketing and Engineering, to refine requirements and iterate on design alternatives in an Agile environment
Build high-fidelity prototypes and wire frames to support product development activities
Present user experience interface concepts and design approaches clearly and convincingly
Develop and maintain UX design guidelines for individual product lines within SailPoint
Work with UI developers to implement designs and validate features as they are built to ensure they adhere to SailPoint?s core UX principals
Continually improve UX design through targeted design and analysis of experiments, such as A-B testing and other user feedback forums
Serve as liaison to outside design and research firms, as required
Skills/Experience:
5+ years UX design experience
Track record of producing UI designs that led to success in the market
Exceptional understanding of fundamental interaction design and usability principals for browser and mobile-based user interfaces
Deep knowledge of user-centric design processes and methodologies
Demonstrated knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript/AJAX technologies and experience designing solutions which leverage these technologies
Demonstrated strength in creating an intuitive user experience for multi-persona applications, especially in a SaaS environment
Understanding opportunities and constraints of multiple platforms (web, smartphone, tablets)
Expert level knowledge of graphic design tools such as Photoshop
Experience with developing user interfaces for enterprise software and experience with mobile UX paradigms and technologies such as PhoneGap, iOS apps and Android apps a plus
Experience working in an agile development environment a plus
Team player, comfortable with rapid iteration process and working within a small fast paced team
Online portfolio of work samples is required
