All we need now is you.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define long-term user experience strategies and ensure a consistent and cohesive experience across all Volusion products
Consistently provide best-in-class user experience to Volusion customers while leading efforts to acquire appropriate resources from the business stakeholders to deliver best possible product
Lead continuous usability improvement for Volusion?s online, web-application used by our 25,000 + clients
Increase engagement through persuasive design and gamification
Drive design planning process, including process improvements and project scoping
Translate business objectives and user needs into functional, navigation, and user interaction requirements and design patterns
Work closely with development and influence the product vision for major feature additions and enhancements
Collaborate with marketing department to ensure consistency around Volusion?s branding
Create and optimize dynamic web applications
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
4-5 years of experience encompassing all aspects of user experience design including User Experience, User Interface design, Information Architecture, Human Factors Engineering, Interaction Design, Usability Testing and Expertise, Instructional Design, Persuasive Design, Gamification
Experience designing user experiences for complex, interactive web-based applications
Ecommerce background is a plus
Experience with User Research, Usability Testing, and Analytics
Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills
BA/BS or equivalent combination of work experience and education
Thrives in fast-paced environment, a self-starter
